Bitt has two human parents that adopted him before he started hunting for himself. These two parents were indeed rich, but they never got too close (especially when they found out that he can hunt for himself, and humans are usually the closest meat source) to him. They got him school with remote transactions and took care of him through babysitters. So Bitt legally has parents, but none that matter.
