DEAR SCRATCH! I'm sorry you had to wait so long for my letter. I'm also very sorry about some mistakes I will probably make writing this, but English isn't my native language and I try not to use Google Translator too much =) In this letter, I would like to tell you how much I love Scratch and why!!! So, umm, let me do a list! ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ A LIST OF REASONS WHY I LOVE SCRATCH: 1. Programming here is easy and a lot of fun. Programming here always gives me a lot of joy. I can create whatever I want and I enjoy it a lot. I also love the idea of Scratch blocks :D (You just use a few colorful blocks and BOOM! You have just created a great multiplayer game with cloud variables and one hundred levels. That's. Just. Genius.) ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ 2. Meeting different people & making friends Scratch community is amazing. Of course that there are haters. There will always be. But who cares when most of Scratchers you meet are nice, kind, friendly and always willing to talk about school, books, projects and other staff??? :) ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ 3. Scratch is welcome to everyone Scratch isn't just for white people. it isn't just for girls or just for men. It isn't just for adults or just for kids. Scratch is welcome to everyone and that's probably the best thing about it. Thank you for such a wonderful place where everyone can feel special! ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ 4. You can find awesome games here :) ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ 5. Scratch Cat is cute! lol ;D ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ 6. It's totally free! It's unbelievable that something this beautiful and comprehensive is free. Thank you so much!!! ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ 7. It still keeps changing! All of these updates, featuring projects and studios, new ideas, replying to comments... It must be terribly exhausting! Dear Scratch Team, you have to work soooo hard! I really, really appreciate your work. ━━━━⊱⋆⊰━━━━ In the ,,Dear Scratch..." Studio description, there's an interesting question: ,,What ideas might you have for the future of Scratch?". So... First of all, you don't have to add anything! Scratch is great just the way it is. But if you're bored and have no ideas what to add... ;D 1. New sprites! Maybe you could do a cloud vote or something where Scratchers could choose which sprites do they want to see in the Sprite Gallery? Or how about making a second Sprite Galery, when different Scratchers can add costumes designed by them? That would be super cool, but it's probably really hard to make... 2. Maybe something like "Daily project" where you show a random project each day so the underrated ones can get a boost? I don't know if I explained it well and it's propably pretty similar to featured projects... Nevermind <3 These are just ideas, but I hope you'll like them! Okay, I have to end for know.
