(lore) Date June 29th, 1909 2 weeks after first contact. One of the Tripod was interested off the Abundantian coast near Holtan. The First Battle Squadron sallied out to engage the Tripod before it reached Holtan. The EAN Prince Otto tried ramming the Tripod but was hit with the intense heat of the ray gun and fires started to spread on board. It sunk with all hands after a magazine detonated.
