(Go inside and click sprite "C-16 Modeyl 2603 (2414) to hear voicelines") The PeWS System (Pre-engagement Warning System) is advanced early warning system to inform the pilot of nearby activities and plane status based on HDRS and SRS tracking, plane mastercomputer and nearby detection systems in the area or from the plane's built in detection (of up to nearly 2500 km range). The system can inform the pilot of technical status, enemy locations, early warnings and enemy targets detected by the PeWS. The PeWS is a reformed and better version of the previous and notoriously unreliable EWPS (Early Warning Plane System) inspired of the Azovu PALMER System. The PeWS could be installed onto C-15s and C-15As to oust the EWPS. However, it proved ineffective and too costly and the ERAF instead made a new plane of the Corsair (C) series, the C-16 M2603 is a new plane unveiled in the year 2414 (2603 in Czezkian calendar) to replace the aging C-15 and C-15A fighters. Nearly 1500 have been made as of current and the ERAF plans for the new plane to completely replace the C-15 and become the new plane of the ERAF. Stats of the C-16 M2603: Engine: M2603 Moskau Arms MACH-20 Hyper-Jet engine Key components: Stealth paint and geometrics, LiDAR and lock on jammers, SAMG Rapid Fire Machine Gun, 20 missle capacity, widened and expanded cockpit, stabilized and refined tail wings and wings, PeWS System, 8 radar sensors
*Note: the voicelines sound like they are playing through a cruddy speaker but that is to prevent the pilot from getting confused between other pilots speaking and the PeWS voicelines (there is the option to remove the radio amplifier to get a cleaner voice)
