Hello lovely people and welcome to day 2 of DAPFED! If you don't know already... DAPFED stands for: Drawing A Pokemon Food Every Day! Anyway, for day two as you can see I chose to draw a "Captivating Poké Puff" I think I improved the rendering from my previous (which was also my first ever) pixel art! I don't think I've ever been so invested in a series (not that I make a new series frequently...) This has been really enjoyable so far and I'm excited for day three!

Similar to macarons or iced cupcakes, Poké Puffs are small, highly decorated, cake-like confections baked specifically for Pokémon to enjoy! Poké Puffs were first introduced in Generation VI (Pokémon X and Y) as a core feature of Pokémon-Amie. Players feed Poké Puffs to their Pokémon to raise their Affection. High affection provides battle benefits, like a higher chance to land critical hits or surviving a lethal attack. They range in quality from Basic and Frosted all the way up to Deluxe and Supreme Puffs (like the Wish Poké Puff or Honor Poké Puff), which boast elaborate toppings like crowns and elaborate icing.
