Click the green flag, sit back, enjoy. Move mouse cursor to any corner of the stage to reveal the sliders. Press number keys (0-2) for nice presets of Δx, Δy, Δz. Found some other cool combination of numbers? Post them here and I may add them as a preset for everyone to see. Feel free to remix; try and see what happens when you change any of the numbers inside! For better framerate: https://turbowarp.org/1332424080
Based on "Bubble Universe", written in Processing by yuruyurau. https://x.com/yuruyurau/status/1226846058728177665 The original animation is 2D, though it does give a slight 3D illusion. You can see it in Scratch, thanks to RokCoder: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1314640592/ Here I am investigating the possibility of a 'bubble universe' that is truly 3D. It's not perfect: the bubble is not a perfect sphere (it looks more like a rounded cube), and the 'galaxy' shapes seem to stick to the outer shell. But some better formulas might fix that. I believe yuruyurau's techniques, proven in 2D, work equally well in 3D.
