here's what I did to make the background un-transparent: 1 - went to the costumes tab. 2 - Selected the "square" tool. 3 - Set the color to white 4 - made my square dimensions by dragging the cursor and holding it down, until the square is big enough 5 - made the white square cover the whole image. 6 - clicked on the white square, and then went to the top of the toolbar in scratch vector 7 - clicked on "back" 8 - And now, because this is in vector format, the white square will be behind the art, at the very back! Hope this was helpful, animal lover (I wasn't able to really describe in the comments what I was yapping about)! The square can also be whatever color is in the vibrant palette! Want it red? want it hot pink? use the bucket tool and hover over the square, then click on it! (make sure the color is set before you do that, though)
