The Juno DV-2U (Duelʹnyy Vynyshchuvach Iteration 2 Uma [Duel Fighter Jet Iteration 2 Uma]) Is an Uman Fighter Craft Retrofit developed by Juno Aerospace Industries. The DV-2U was developed after the performance of the DV-1U was evaluated during the NUO-UC war, and multiple different things were evaluated. 1; The NUO had discovered a way to detect Metamaterials. 2; The base DV-1U with slight upgrades still couldn't fight on the level of the CF-38s. and 3; The NUO also needs improved air-to-air weaponry. The DV-2U was primarily a DV-1U Retrofit, but with serious overhauls internally and with the nose. The DV-2U was Retrofitted with a dedicated Multi-Spectral Passive Electro-Optical Detection System (MSPEODS), while also fitted with improved Pylons and an airframe made from Military Grade Titanium-Carbon Composite Material, with Titanium Wiring embedded throughout the Airframe to maintain airframe integrity. The DV-2U was tested just north of Bombey, Maharashtra, alongside Experimental Missiles with MSPEODSs installed for enhanced aircraft detection. The tests were overall successful, and the DV-2U was soon greenlit, with DV-1Us primarily being Retrofitted while some factories began producing fresh DV-2Us.
