So I hear squealing coming from the paddock so I rush outside. The first thing I see is Autumn attacking Toughie! I rush in there with my halter and lead rope and shoo Autumn away. I put the halter on Toughie and lead him inside. He has a gash in his shoulder and a few bruises. Luckily nothing was broken nore sprained. I’m no vet but I’m putting him on stall rest. I spray his wound with anti-biotics to prevent infection, and I give him a bandage. I put him in the stall.
