Your activity level (number of threads/day or week on average) Since it's summer, like a 7 or 8, but I'll work harder to be more active. I want to get some plots going since a lot of my friends are applying for kits around Soul's age. 4. Rp/writing experience :) I've been roleplaying consistently for a good 2 years! I'm very active in TFCRP, where I have quite a few cherished characters that I often roleplay with. I've played two high ranks there, Belugapaw and Weepingmist, who are medicine cats. I've also been involved in generations, though I want to get into more fast-paced adventures in gens. Writing-wise, I've won some competitions and will be considering doing an English major in college, so I love any chance to role-play characters. RP excerpt: The little kit flailed, grabbing at air. Sinking a sharp claw into the soft wood, the doe managed to save her own life. She clung to the branch with fervor, heart palpitating. Down, down, down. There was nothing left that could hold her up. Down, down, down, and so she let herself fall. 5. Name of the kit you want and why you want them. Soulkit! I love exploring juxtapositions in character names, so if I win Soulkit, I'll dissect the possibility of a "soulless" persona. Maybe I'll do something Faustian in nature? 6. (include a detailed and simple description) Simple: (+) wise, resolute, unswayed, resilient, intelligent, rational, direct, protective | (-) cold, internally paranoid, expressionless, lonely, morbid, distant, apathetic, cynical, obsessive, withdrawn Detailed & a bit of a contradictory backstory: They stare at you with eyes that don't blink and a mouth that doesn't smile. It's a surprise, really, because previously, he was the happiest kit as could be, warm and full of soul and life. Now he is a husk of his former self, as if he were a Faust who sold it. Sometimes, but not very often, a sliver of his former, happy self seems to shine through as if it's fighting the Mephistopheles that has possessed him. The all-consuming oracle yearns for the pursuit of knowledge over its own soul. He seems to act a bit like a prophet, as if a fortune-teller who has no fortune of his own. Inside, he yearns for the same love and warmth they felt as a kit, but for some haunted reason, they can't express it. 9. Kit's physical description. A vibrant golden yellow that seems to radiate a soulful warmth, paired with green, paranoid eyes. 10. Research (if applicable) N/a, I think! 11. Plans for the kit's future. Some event before apprenticehood that leads to a drastic change in personality. I think it'd likely be being "too much" and having too big a personality, to the point where it'd start to irk a friend, and having a falling out with said friend that causes him to be withdrawn in order not to make everyone upset (as he realizes the pitfall of their actions) Maybe gradually learning to open up? Or finding a friend who knows him for his heart and not for his outward personality. I definitely want a lot of plot with Zodiac. This kit will be joining Urchinclan. 12. Other (trivia, family opinions, etc.) I'm going to focus on Zodiac because I don't know how the other kits are, but I think Soulkit will start ignoring his parents during his apprenticeship, despite being super, super close to them as a kit.
