Don’t give up, if you have a story that you think is good, then go for it, don’t second guess yourself. After all, it might change someone’s life. Q7: When it comes to writing, are you a perfectionist? A: Yes and no. I so badly want my work to be perfect, but I can be insanely sloppy with it from time to time. Q8: Have you shared a story on scratch before? A: No, but I probably will someday… Q9: What's your favourite plot structure? (7 point plot structure, hero's journey plot structure, etc) A: usually a three act structure Q10: What's your inspiration? A: My inspiration comes from literally anywhere and everywhere! For instance, I once came up with a story idea form eating cucumbers. Q11: Do you like making graphic novels/comics? A: I haven’t made one in a little while, but yeah, they’re fun! Q12: Poetry, or story writing? A: is this like what I enjoy doing more? If so, story writing. But poetry is really cool too! Q13: Fiction or non-fiction? A: FICTIONNNNN!!! (Non fiction isn’t bad, it’s just I like the creativity that often comes with fiction) Q14: What's your favourite book/series? A: I don’t knowww. I like the chronicles of narnia, KOTLC, Survivors, and Wing of Fire Q15: Do you believe in writers block? A: yeeeeees. (I get it. BAD.) Q16: What about reader's block? A: hmm. I wasn’t aware this existed. But now that I’m aware of its presence, yes, I do. This actually explains some things, like times when I wanted to read but couldn’t get myself to. Q17: Do you like putting references in your stories? (references to other books, a movie, songs, etc) A: I don’t really do that, but I can appreciate when others do. Q18: Do you like writing chapter books? A: YEAH! It can get frustrating, but it’s one of the most rewarding things to do. Q19: Realistic fiction or unrealistic fiction? A: depends on the genre. Q20: Have you ever written a character based on someone in real life? A: yeeeeaaah. Q21: Do you give MBTI personality types to your characters? A: I’m not sure what that is, sorry. Q22: Writing in a notebook or writing on google docs? A: Notebook, it feels better. But google docs has its perks, like how it’s faster to write in. Q23: What do you think is the best thing for someone to do when they get writers block? A: Just give themselves some space from the story, it’s alright to take a break. Q24: When did you realize you wanted to be a writer? A: When I was 8 years old I loved to write, but it probably took till I was 10 or 11 to actually want to do it professionally Q25: Do you have a lot of OCs? A: yeah…they’re just fun to write! A: No, to be honest that’s usually the one I find the easiest Q31: Have you drawn your characters before? A: some of them, yeah Q32: Have you roleplayed with your characters before? A: no, but I’d like to! Q33: Do you think you take way too long planning what to write instead of actually writing? A: I work a lot on marking sure all of the world building and characters and motives make sense before I write Q34: What's your favourite part when editing? A: I’m not sure. Q35: What's your least favourite part when editing? A: seeing how bad my spelling mistakes were. Q36: How long have you been writing? My best friend and I wrote a story together, and she named the two main characters after us. I later changed their names, but they’re still based off of us. Q41: Do you usually unintentionally make a side character more interesting than a main character? A: sometimes. Then I want to make a spin-off about the side character. Q42: Have you ever written a character as something other than a human? A: Yes, all the time (dragons, robots, dogs, hybrids), next question.
