This mod of https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1292816380/ lets you gain jumps as you progress! There's a new item called Jump Adder which lets you gain +1 to your max jumps! (Your jumps reset to the max when you touch the ground.) If you see stars or lava, then you are getting close to the top or bottom, which both resets you.
