It has come to my attention that DBD needs a refresher on online safety, so let's start. Why is online safety important? Online safety is important because you don't know who is on the other side of the screen. Approximately 300,000 kids go missing each year in the U.S. alone. Why am I making this? Well, some DBDers have decided that they were going to do a voice call offsite and advertise it on DBD. The link was easily accessible. If I'm being honest, I'm genuinely dissapointed. I thought you guys would prioritize keeping yourselves safe over having fun online. You could argue that it's just a voice call, but it's not. Voice changers exist, and adults could've easily gotten on the call. Your LIVES could've been in danger. People can still get information from your voice. You were also risking getting the studio taken down because calls like this violate the community guidelines. In conclusion, staying safe online is more important than having fun online. You shouldn't join a random voice call because some of your online friends are on it. We're all still technically strangers because most of us don't know each other in real life. You don't know if one of your online friends could have malicious intentions. Thanks for reading, and stay safe.
