HEHEHE I dyed my hair red. Don't ask me why I'm telling you. It's for marching band season <3 Our colors for the show are red, black, white. It's my first time dying it myself, usually my mom does it bc shes dyed her hair for years.
guess I'll yap for a while because it's been a while. Things are going pretty well, I'm about to go to church camp, summer has been pretty nice, I did June band stuff and now I've gotten a bit of a break- a calm before the storm if you will. I've gotten to chill with my bestie, and might go to an amusement park with my graduate friend. When Band camp hits, it's over ya'll, I am done for. I got moved up to the marimba line, which is really good, but very intense. It's like how I felt last year all over again, but I know everybody and i'm older. For anyone who doesn't know, I started band in 8th grade, so its only been 2 years of experience, while everybody else my grade has 5 years locked in (for the most part). I have improved tremendously, and I'm very proud of how far I've come in such a short amount of time (Near the level my peers are at) But I still feel so far behind sometimes. The marimba music is very challenging, and I'm grateful on one hand because the vibraphone music is super easy to me, but at the same time it feels like jumping from 0 to 100. My life will basically disappear into academics and band when school starts, and I have barely recovered my lost sleep. I'm taking more rigorous courses this year, because i'm adding another honors class to my schedule. And I've heard brutal things about honors chemistry. But, it is a pathway to taking AP physics, which I really want to do. I love physics, don't ask why, because I don't know. I hate math. Also, doing ceramics this year, so that will be fun, but it might mean doing a little less drawing overall. Anyway, life is fun, goodbye.
