This isn't a place I would've ever imagined my status on Scratch to be in, but I have to be fully honest now... I'm not happy with where things had been heading. --- November 2023, I started ThinkWare. I wanted a final send-off after helping so many others with WarioWare projects, by finally making one of my own. I pondered my future - maybe look at other game engines like Godot or return to Unity. June 2024, I had met and made a whole treasure trove of friends, and eventually started to make some microgames in their honor. It became so plentiful that I decided to split ???Ware into two projects in the plans - one as the original, the other for the friends. July 2026. My quality of life's gone down a lot since then, especially mental health. Anxiety went from a rarity to daily life. And those friends? Slowly, a bunch have stopped being the friends I've gotten to know. A couple even unrecognizable, apart from their aliases. Nearly a year ago, I thought I had announced my last birthday on this site, yet it's here in less than a month. My resume, formerly filled to the brim with projects, had been utterly stagnant since June 2024. --- !!!Ware was originally made to honor a particular group of friends, but what's the point to continuing a project when the value it was to represent has gone? My desire to use this website nowadays... it's not here all that much now. It's for all that reasoning, that I've officially cancelled !!!Ware. As for ThinkWare, the last reason for staying here... I'll see. It's been going through struggles of its own no doubt, but for the most part, its ability to progress has been largely tied to my mental health. And that's probably a bigger indicator more than anything on why it's only been updated once in this year of 2026. If I eventually finish ThinkWare, I'll unshare this project and share it in its steed. And if I don't?... --- It's a lot to read, I know. But for much of the silence I've given this year... I owe these words. Let's see how life goes.
