Welcome to 2D Minecraft! Here is a simple guide to how to play. Movement: To move around, use the WAD or arrow keys on computer and the buttons on mobile. Blocks: There are many different types of blocks, such as trees, stone and even lava! You can mine any block, just walk up beside it, press it and wait 2.5 seconds. Better pickaxes make minig quicker. Some blocks need better pickaxes to collect the materials. (You need a copper pickaxe to mine iron ore.) Inventory: Press E on computer or the 3 dots on mobile to open it. Then, press R or the 3 dots to close it. You craft by tapping on the materials. The crafting recipes are the same as in regular Minecraft (see below). To move inventory slides, press the arrow at the top of the screen. Caves: To enter the caves, mine down to the bottom of the screen and step on the black line, when you will be teleported into the caves. Jump up to the top black line in the caves to be teleported back. Health: Your health is in the heart at the top left of the screen. The only thing that can harm you is lava, which deals 5 damage every second. Watch out for it! Crafting recipes: (Only read it you do not already know them) Oak planks: 1 oak log for 4 Sticks: 2 oak planks for 4 Pickaxes: 2 sticks and 3 material (oak planks, cobblestone, raw copper, raw iron, diamond) To mine a ore of the next material, you need the next best pickaxe.
