They were both very close to Queen Licia IV. When Avel was 4, her parents were killed by a plague that was spread from the royal infirmary to her mother, who was not properly quarantined and spread the plague to her father. Now orphaned, Avel was taken in by queen Licia IV and raised alongside the other palace kids, including the princess, Licia V. ♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚♚ PLOT um idk yet I'm not far enough into the story (I'm the type of person to plan out all the characters, all the ships, random scenes and dialogue, but none of the plot) At the beginning of the story Avel is eager for adventure and itching for a fight, feeling useless in her role as one of many soldiers. But with peace between the 3 kingdoms, she spends her time between training new recruits, training herself, and sneaking off to find time to hang out with her best friend, Zagen. One day while sneaking off on one of these trips, she catches a glimpse of a wing-- like those of the Angyls of Eternalia. Who supposedly all died out in the Great War-- and if they still were around, they would not be allowed to be in Mortalia. Avel chases the Angyl but loses her.
