⊱──────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆──────────⊰ ❮.ೃ࿔. ݁✎ ˖*:・༄❯ Application Form ~✦︎~ Come join me this on this tour of darling cosmos mind! Today we will learn about how this little star will represent themself and interact with other cats and the world around them. So step aboard, and meet the star. ~✧~ Simple: (+) curious, clever, gentle (=) shy, watchful (-) arrogant, clumsy, easily overstimulated Complex: the little star is very curious, and loves to watch the world around them and learn everything that can. Their knowledge often leads them to believe they are above the rest of their clan. They are shy, and sometimes refuse to talk to others, but you simply must mention one of their interests to them to crack their hard shell. they consider starself to be an expert astronomer, and will tell you anything you want to know (and a lot you didn’t know you did) at a simple question. Star tries their best to be gentle, but is known to trip over their own paws once in a while. So, what do you think? Would you enjoy being in the company of our little star? ~✦︎~ as a young kit, star will be unsure how to express themself and default to he him. However, they will quickly discover cats with pronouns that don’t match the box they thought they had to fit starself in, and as an older kit, they will begin to use they/them/star/starself pronouns. ~✧~ Cosmo is berriromantic asexual, and is emotionally attracted to girls primarily, while it is not entirely out of the realm of possibility for them to like other genders. They feel no physical attraction to anyone, and do not understand the concept. They are unlikely to have bio kits, but see a family as an important step in a relationship, and star will likely wish to adopt kits. ~✦︎~ I had the lovely Ripplekit of FC, but, you know, the safety fail… ~✧~ Definition: intersex is an umbrella term for somebody born with no clear s3x, wether that be due to chromosomes, body parts, or a number of other reasons. How being intersex can affect everyday life: in some human cases, intersex children will undergo surgery without consent to make them fit into the “typical” male/female box. While this is unlikely to affect Cosmo, it is a very real issue that affects many people. According to Mental Health America “trauma from these surgeries may live in the body, even though the memories do not” another problem often faced by intersex people is discrimination from health care professionals in 2020, 88% of intersex individuals experienced mistreatment from a medical professional. Discrimination towards intersex individuals also reaches beyond medical practices. In the past, being intersex was wrongly described as “disorder of sexual development” or “DSD”. This incorrect term ,ed to a lot of social discrimination towards intersex people. I looked at the stories of some intersex people, and many told about bullying and gender stereotypes. In conclusion, while being intersex is neither a disorder or a mental health disability, many uninformed or just plain mean people treat this perfectly ok part of some individuals as some sort of defect or act as though it makes someone less than human. This is NOT OK, but is sadly very common. Although many intersex people face bullying or discrimination due to their bodies, an intersex individual can lead a life just like any other person, and being intersex does not need to affect anyone’s life experience. How this will affect Cosmo inrp: While Cosmo hopefully will not face any discrimination, they will certainly go through a period of gender dysphoria where they will feel uncertain about stars own identity and will question the label they put on themself. ~✦︎~ 8.5 ~✧~ favorites: Color: orange Animal: squirrel Prey: mouse Word: tourmaline Least favorites: Color: green Animal: badger Prey: squirrel Word: button Nicknames: Cosmo, mo mo (only for close friends and family), nebula, cece ____ ___ __ ⊱──────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆──────────⊰
