Someone asked to see the Ducklings so here we go. precious babies... I think you can guess which one is Cashew and which one is Almond lol I volunteer at a bird sanctuary and these babies needed a temporary home so here we are. they are around 2 weeks old and yes, they are siblings and go everywhere with each other... Cashew: -is a poop monster -screams if I walk too fast -hates being alone -fav treat is pea's, I take the skin off to reduce the risk of choking -loves bath time<3 Almond: more quiet and shy crazy when it comes to pea's steps in his food. swims in his drink water ;-; follows me everywhere.
meep these are mallard ducklings btw and were rescued from a drain :< just a quick reminder that in spring you cannot under any circumstances interfere with ducklings, do not chase, harass or try and grab one. You will get attacked by the mother and potentially ruin the bond between the mother and her baby. If you DO come across a LONE duckling, be gentle, patient and give it to someone experienced. Because ducklings poop a lot and need special care like heat pads and they need ATTENTION. A lot of attention.... also they step in their food and make a mess everywhere.
