For the 5th Season of SLOG, here is a new standings art I've come up with. I hope it looks AMAZING~:) Let me know if you like this design! (u can see old/new by clicking or typing anything) Anyway, here are all the changes: - Vertical Format instead of the box format. And during the season it's easier to move the assets so the table will actually follow the order of the league. - Cut out logo design (like comics / cartoons!) - Records are all aligned near the end of the box, with the team's conf, and total # of titles won. LA has 2, TOR has 1. (fun fact, 6 out of the 8 teams have made the SLOG finals, but there are only 2 champions! Crazy stuff.) - The 1 is yellow to represent the best and also why not lol :) *All of the teams in this chosen order were just accidental and not intentional. This is just a template and not the actual Season 5 order, which will be implemented once Season 5 starts in fall 2026 after the Summer Series.
The Yellow tab might be back?! (also please read all below & comment below what do u think) The pts tab is an idea I had in the beginning of Season 4, where each team that wins will get 2 pts and each team that loses gets 1 pt. That would make a midseason comeback much more possible and hopefully keeps players in their teams for longer instead of just quitting (which I am seeing to be an issue, looking at you IND), avoiding chip chasing as each team actually feels like they have a shot, but doesn't mean each game isn't worth something because every win leads to a gap that can build over time, and ofc H2H still applies! This hopefully will lead to a tighter playoff race. (But all of the SLOG Season's have had crazy races) Now, granted, this is just an idea and NOT official yet. I've founded SLOG with the implementation for the players first, and so I will put it up to a vote if it is to be added for Season 5. But I do feel this would be a great idea to implement for SLOG's historic 5th season. Additionally, I am currently trying to implement a "mini reward" that would help the teams that miss the playoffs help build a better roster next season. Maybe salary cap related? Idrk. Anyway, also there should and will be more roster move rules as there was a lot of arguing about that in the beginning of the season so more parity rules are to be expected and announced in the future. _____________________________________________ SLOG and everybody involved:
