This poem, I wrote for my school competition in March 19 2025 (actually, before that, it was somewhere in March, I think March 12th, that's what my email says when I submitted). Even though I didn't win, I still showcase this (but this isn't my best one). The secret to winning is including the theme word. It was peace, but I don't relly think my poem relates too much to it. You know, I had to keep changing the poem to change the verse and add House of Kindness, it was a house competition. (Random fact: I was the House Captain of Kindness, which means I was in student leadership last year!) +:★:+*━━━*+:★:+*━━━*+:★:+* Oh, where did my colours fly? I can't find them up high in the sky! They are sly foxes-hiding all over the place, As if they don't want to show their face. Roses are not red-they are not sleeping in their bed. Violets are not blue they don't want to catch a flu. Daisies are not white they are getting ready for a flight. Sunflowers are not yellow, nor would they greet you hello! Pink pushes purple to sprint in a hurdle; However, black and brown frown at this mess. Colours are angry people having rage on each other. They sabotaged each other but peach has a plan. They gave each other water, making each other stronger, Having realisation of the past, pledging this mistake is their last. But there is one secret-it was all in the hands of grey: He was in charge to make all shine today. +:★:+*━━━*+:★:+*━━━*+:★:+* I edited this on Canva using a pre-made template from there, and I wanted it to be cursive since we were forced to write cursive in our notebooks in Primary, now in Secondary, it doesn't matter YAYYYY!! (Now, since 2026, I hate the cursive fonts of Canva, but the other Scratchers implement it super nicely, also I think it looks good on my poem.)
