TW: Mentions of d34th and grief ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Choruspaw trotted into camp with excitement painted on their face. Note had just finished the exploration and was dying to tell their friends and mentor, Sizzlingstar, about the experience. They padded up to the apprentice den. It was /empty/. Red stained the walls and a bundle of fur laid motionless on the ground. It smelled of... wolves! Oh, how horrid of a smell! Cori couldn't take this anymore! They needed revenge on these horrid creatures. Their eyes started to water. They were meant to protect everyone, but yet, they failed. Oh, if only they hadn't been on that one exploration maybe things would have been different. They sniffed the bundle of fur on the ground. It had yellow and grey splotches all over it. Oh no! Could it be... it was Theatricalpaw! "Thea!" Choruspaw shook the motionless body, "Thea!" Tears streamed down their face. Their family; gone. Their friends; missing. Grief filled and tears streaming, note hobbled out of the apprentice den. Choruspaw ran into the nursery. The stench of milk stuck to their nostrils as they padded in. As they walked in, the smell of bl00d and wolves was stronger. They saw fur everywhere. Queens laying motionless with small furballs to their sides. Suddenly, note looked at one kit in particular. The grey markings were distinct. Tauntkit! No! Not Tau! The little prankster, Cori's friend. Cori nudged Taunt but they didn't move. "Tau! This one is scaring me! Please get up!!" they yowled, "Please?!" Choruspaw stood down at Tauntkit and gently gave them one more lick and padded away. By the highrock, and orange furball was motionless. Cori reconized it to be Sizzlingstar. No. It couldn't be. Just no. Not Choruspaw's mentor, not the Flurryclan leader! Not the cat who snuck Cori out of camp as a kit. No. "Why starclan?!" Choruspaw growled, "Why would you do this? Do you /want/ us to /suffer/?!" Choruspaw wiped away tears of grief. They giggled like a kit. What was wrong with starclan? Why? /They just want more cats in their clan/ Cori thought, but they were not getting Choruspaw. They needed to kill wolves first. But, the fact remained, everyone was ❰ Gone ❱. ❰ ERP ❱
