Chapter Two: We All Have Our Secrets LINK'S POV: I walked into the station and chief stopped me. "Did you find a partner to accompany you to the 'wedding'?" he asked. I nodded, "Zelda Hyrule." Chief raised his brow. "She doesn't work here. Goddess, did you actually take a civilian call?" Chief asked, looking disappointed. I was shocked, "The call came and it was on the department line! I don't know how she got that number but she's coming. Goddess, her life is in danger." Chief sighed and muttered, "Well let's just hope he won't strike at the wedding." I nodded and felt my phone buzz. I walked away and saw it was a text from Zelda. Zelda: ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴏᴍᴇ ʏᴇᴛ? "Remember to bring a firearm, it'll be your job to protect her," he nodded. I nodded and went to my desk. "Zelda Hyrule." I muttered putting her name into the computer. Nothing came up; how in Hylia's name did she get the number to call? I sighed and looked more into it. Her search history and record is clean. I switch my computer off and bit my lip. ZELDA'S POV: My phone rang, it was the Captain "ᴅɪᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ɢᴇᴛ ᴀ ɪɴᴠɪᴛᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴇᴅᴅɪɴɢ?" he asked. "ʏᴇᴀʜ, ɪ'ᴍ ɢᴏɪɴɢ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴀ ʟɪɴᴋ ʀᴏɢᴇʀs, ʜᴇ's ᴘᴀʀᴛ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴏʟɪᴄᴇ ᴅᴇᴘᴀʀᴛᴍᴇɴᴛ. ʙᴜᴛ ʜᴇ ᴅᴏᴇsɴ'ᴛ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɪ'ᴍ ᴀɴ ᴀɢᴇɴᴛ," I replied. "ɢᴏᴏᴅ, ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ ᴘʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛ ʜɪᴍ," Captain replied. I laughed a bit, "ʏᴇᴀʜ, ɪ'ʟʟ ᴘʀᴏᴛᴇᴄᴛ ʜɪᴍ." "ᴀʟʀɪɢʜᴛ, ɢᴏᴏᴅ ʟᴜᴄᴋ ᴀɢᴇɴᴛ ᴢ," he chuckled. "ʏᴇᴀʜ...ʙʏᴇ," I sighed, hanging up. It was set I had a ride to the wedding with the brides brother, what could go wrong?
