Explanation: You would probably think living in 2D is like what you see in a platformer or an RPG, but nope you would be wrong! Instead, you would just see a 1d line. Imagine a 2d creature looking at a house. In most "2d" games, you can see the whole house at once, but a real 2d creature can't do that. They only see a 1d line, which is just the wall right in front of them! The reason why you do not see a 1d line like I explained is because I stretched the walls so the players can see properly (Its Still What You See As A 2d Being!) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Storyline: One second, you were sitting on your perfectly comfortable, three-dimensional couch, tossing a controller in the air and watching it track effortlessly through X, Y, and Z coordinates. The next second, a neon-blue slit tore open in the middle of the air. It didn't have depth; it was infinitely thin. Before you could even jump backward, a massive gravitational pull dragged you straight into it. The sensation wasn't a fall—it was a squeeze. It felt like your entire body was being ironed out by a cosmic steamroller. Your height, width, and depth all slammed together until one of those directions was simply erased from existence. When you opened your eyes, your brain completely panicked. You expected to look down and see your hands as flat cartoon drawings, like Super Mario or a retro RPG. You expected a colorful, side-scrolling landscape. Instead, there was absolute nothingness. No sky, no floor, no ceiling. Your entire visual universe had collapsed into a single, horizontal line of light slicing through the dark. Up and Down: Entirely gone. You couldn't look up to see where you came from, because "up" was a direction that your brain could no longer compute. Left and Right: Compressed into a shifting stream of colors. Your world was now a 1D pixel array. You tried to take a step forward. In your vision, a massive, solid band of orange suddenly appeared right in the middle of your line. It didn't look like an object; it just looked like a stretched, vertical block of color blocking your view. Panic set in. Was it a flat wall? A trap? A dangerous creature waiting to strike? Because you couldn't distinguish shapes at a glance, you had to become a geometric detective. You carefully slid to the left. As you moved, the orange band didn't show a sharp corner like a square would. Instead, the edges smoothly shifted, its color blending in a perfect, unbroken gradient, stretching wider and wider until it filled your entire field of view. You weren't looking at a wall. You were looking right at a circle. Without the luxury of 3d perspective, you realized the terrifying truth of your new reality: to know what anything was in this world, you couldn't just look at it. You had to walk around it, watching the line of color stretch and squish, decoding a flat universe one single pixel at a time. V1.0
