Voice: Older Drucegrove (Replaced with the Spanish-English Orona male voice in 2013). Doors: Fermator/Orona. Position of the motor room: At floor 0, behind the shaft. Logic: Orona Arca 1 microprocessor controller. Motor: Beringer (Bucher Hydraulics) submersible pump unit. Starter type: Solid state. Maintenance company: Orona. Location: Undisclosed block of flats, El Garcia, ST. This lift is really nice. It's an ultra rare older Orona OR 96 installed by Thyssen in 1999. This one is a hydraulic which has a nice heavy-duty chassis, 2 cylinders and goes about 1 m/s which is fast for a hydraulic lift! It also runs efficiently and has huge pre-doors! The voice unit has been replaced in 2013, the phone has also been replaced in the 2010's and some full height door sensors have been added in the 2010's too! But apart from that, this lift is still completely original after 27 years which is still quite modern IMO... Also, the Beringer/Bucher hydraulic pump unit sounds awesome on this one! This lift is located at an undisclosed block of flats which opened in September 1999. This block of flats also features a 1st gen FireSweeper addressable fire alarm system with EST Integrity horn strobes and remote strobes from 1999. It got updated in June 2011 with PyroStop low frequency sounders. Also, the HVAC system is a Mitsubishi system from '99 which has been modernized in Aug. 2025 by Mitsubishi to make it more energy-efficient.
