If any of you remember my 50 followers celebration project, you might recall a certain half-deerfox. Ugh. I literally ripped off Hilda’s deerfox, Twig. And my maximized capacity brain can’t accept it. Welp, since that project is very outdated, I’ve decided to create my OWN deerfox species (albeit nameless sob so imma just call them deerfoxes). What I have rn: ▲ These deerfoxes are more deerlike. ▲ Three common traits all these deerfoxes have are four ears, four eyes and one single antler that resembles vines. ▲ Females have a shorter antler, males have a larger one. Gender-neutrals have an antler somewhere between the two sizes. Simple. ▲ Females have longer ears due to evolution (listening to their babies’ cries, stuff like that). ▲ Androgyny among the creatures are pretty common. All of the deerfoxes start off androgynous and develop their gender when fully adults, but some chooses to stay gender-neutral. They can still reproduce with their androgynous fellows. ▲ You can tell the creature’s gender by examining the antler and ear size (when they’re adults). ▲ I’m planning on making different biomes for these deerfox creatures to live in. But. Idk what. :’) ▲ Remember Kana? Yeah, instead of a “half-deerfox”, maybe she and her family watch over a forest where some of these “deerfoxes” live. Yeah that’s abt it thanks for listening to me yap.
