hai guys, Mari here. First off, happy pride month. You all deserve sunshine. Second, I cannot believe we're already halfway through the year, my mind is still mentally back in March, aka the best month of my life. A lot has happened since January. I came out to my teachers about my new name (the ones I feel most comfortable w anyways), I lost and then regained my friends within a few weeks---if i'm being honest February was a lot for me---and (shocker I know) I'm going to be a junior soon. I'm afraid about it if I'm being honest. It felt like literally yesterday that I was going into high school and now here I am, getting stuff knocked off my list to prep myself for adulthood within the next two years. It had to happen at some point, it's in our nature that we all progress through childhood, but nobody could prepare for it to slip through your fingers so fast before you could even take it in. Despite the whole childhood tangent, I wasn't expecting the first half of 2026 to fly by so fast. It threw me off guard when I realized how much time has truly passed from Jan until now. Hell, it's 3:38 am as I'm writing this and I *still* cannot believe it !! Ridiculous. . . I know you're wondering "Where have you been on the internet in the last forever??" I'm still online, it's all I do now that I'm on summer vacation. I do youtube--> (https://www.youtube.com/@sillysquidss0) + I'm joining artfight this year (yay), for team comedy. I hope to see some of you guys there. (my @ is sillysquidss). I'm hoping to push my art content as well as my writing stuff further into the public for more people to see, it's a life long goal I wanna knock off my list at some point in time. Aaaaaand that's all ! I might do another silly lil check in like this probably at the end of the year. But until then, stay hydrated, stay happy, and stay as yourself.
