[SPAM-CLICK THE FORMER LIBYAN FLAG] Based on my real-life experience, everything happened IRL. Also, this may seem like a very low-quality and simple project, but yeah, I'm proud of it. This was my biggest poem until now, I wrote it in a day, an hour (today, which is 21st June 2026), and I didn't plan to write this before! I wasn't planning to make this for the 'Dear Scratch' studio! Anyways, this is only a few, before that studio even came, I was planning make a project about how I came to Scratch and why I Scratch, but not in this format. The lines are below: ♦︎•♣︎•━━━━━━━━•♠︎•♥︎ ❀ Dear Scratch, Never knew we'd match! Now I hold my sash, And we'll have a big bash! Now ask me why, ❀ Okay, at first Scratch greeted me with a hi! Saw the blocks a gave a sigh, Was never ready to give a try. But school assigned it, so what I do, Went on dragging without further ado. But the logic was what I never knew, Copy-pasted and wooh!! Was about a maze game but it was one itself, Had no book to take off the shelf. I'm a human and not an elf, Perplexed while looking at myself. Then inactive for months, Visited my homecountry again for once. Got a science book, Went on to have a look. Stumbled on a random page, And it showed the stage. With if and else, And a bunch of blocks it tells. But we had no WiFi, And I'm not gonna lie. It persisted for a month, Couldn't get to the front. So July was just, Hardship, oh, here comes August. Logged on Scratch again, Created my 2nd project back then. Oh wait, it was 3rd, I deleted the 2nd one since it was acting absurd! ❀ Then Happy Birthday and more games, After I moved up a class, yet I chased no fame. Got into phrases and turned 'em into memes, While everyone was arguing to wear jeans! Stuck my mind to coding for the day, While everyone else wanted to play. The teacher gave me the job to approve, The projects everyone made, yet they didn't prove. They put random sprites and barely any code. Because all of them were just in play mode. It was absolute no progress they made, Only a wish of my approval they laid. Free time, ugh, I'd rather code unlike you, But barely did I know to code this well too! ❀ Joined a competition, and got placed in the top 5, But I dunno where, it wasn't on live! Then moved up to Secondary and no more Scratch! Yet I kept Scratchin', it was part of my batch! In September 2025, I interacted with the community to strive. I got a follower, and after that, I thrived, And high-fived! Learned better codes from others, Realised that there are many other things to discover! I uncover, When I hover. Now here's where I am, And now, I share it with my fam! It's all thanks to you, Scratch! ♦︎•♣︎•━━━━━━━━•♠︎•♥︎ THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR FEEDBACK AND FOR THOSE WHO COMPLIMENTED ME!! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT (seriously) :DD FUN FACT: The beat in this project is the way you're supposed to recite this poem, tho' in the original, there is no music. I never put music in it. Sometimes, it may sound a bit weird, but it'll take a few secs to sync. If it doesn't, spam the green flag. Timestamps (when it happened IRL): Line 1 to Line 5 is just an intro. Line 6 to Line 34: 2024 Line 35 to Line 48: From 2024 to 2025 Line 49 to Line 63: From 2025 till now You'll see a flower if the start of a new line is marked on the project/description.
