In the BTAVerse timeline, Random! Cartoons is the name of an animation/puppetry anthology series on Kids' WB running from September 4, 1998 to January 14, 2000. Created by Jean MacCurdy and Sheryl Leach, it was a co-production between Warner Bros. Television Animation and Lyrick Studios. Similar to What A Cartoon! and Oh Yeah! Cartoons, it showcased short pilots (both animated or using puppets) from both veteran and up-and-coming talent. The series had two hosts during its two seasons. Season 1 was hosted by Rob Paulsen, best known for his voice acting work for various WB animated series. Season 2 was hosted by Larry Bentley, the voice actor of Wishbone. Of the total 33 episodes and 99 pilots, 6 were picked up as full series. Detention, Knick/Knack, and Pizza Wolf, were Warner Bros. productions while Don't Eat the Neighbours (renamed Big Teeth, Bad Breath), Royally Bankrupt, and Sproing! were Lyrick productions. Our timeline's Random! Cartoons, which is a Nickelodeon series is instead season 4 of Oh Yeah! Cartoons.
