Smokepaw has home issues back home in HazeClan. His brothers Emberpaw and Sparrowpaw relentlessly bully him, Thriftstar is kind-of an enabler, and Smokepaw's mentor Poppypath (whos also deputy) is super naggy and always talks down to Smokepaw. This is why he wants to befriend Reaperkit/paw so bad, because the cats of HazeClan either hate him for no reason or are unintentionally mean to him.
