hello its me crewmate this is my take + expanding upon Sprout's lore So it follows some part of his original reworked(???) Lore. After Gardenview is shut down, Sprout starts to have an unhealthy attachment to Cosmo. As in following him everywhere, refusing to go places if Cosmo isn't with him, and sometimes even STALKING him. He feels as if Cosmo is all he has, and if he isn't friends with Cosmo then he has no purpose anymore since Gardenview has been shut down for good. Because of how parasiticly attached (if parasiticly is even a word im crine) he is, he inadvertently pushes Comso away. Cosmo rightfully calls him out on his behavior, and Sprout starts to panic. He doesn't want to push him away. He can't lose him. After this, he isolates himself. He doesn't talk to anybody outside of Cosmo, who tries to get him to stop the isolation, which he refuses to do. Cosmo is DEEPLY worried about him, of course he is. He's his best friend, and it hurt him to see his friend in such a state. But sadly there was nothing he could do.
