For some reason I always thought of Byzantium as looking right but I made the missed sprites so they have to be both the player and on the left XD
References: Byzantium: Crown is heavily inspired by the Empire government rank icon in EU4. The shadow is a reference to CK3 with the crown being the county icon in said game and the flag being a mix of the flag of the county of Byzantion and duchy of Thrace (a fun fact is that the moon and crescent was originally a coat of arms for byzantion but after the ottomans took konstaniyye it became used by the Muslims) Ottomans: all the weapons were ones they used in the 1440's, and the cannon is the same one in the artillery icon, though unlike the empire crown It wasn't copied and improved in quality
