Spectrum Shift This CT is all about colors. The user can manipulate colors and their shades to create objects and tools, and depending on the color, they have different properties. ? Red – Edge Extremely sharp constructs. Swords, knives, razor wires. High cutting power but somewhat brittle. ? Orange – Viscosity Sticky, syrup-like constructs. Traps, glue, slowing opponents. Can harden over time. ? Yellow – Conductivity Conducts electricity, heat, and cursed energy exceptionally well. Can redirect CE attacks through yellow constructs. Great for setting up combos. ? Green – Acidity Corrosive constructs that melt armor, cursed tools, or barriers. Less effective against living tissue if you want to keep it balanced. ? Blue – Density Heavy, incredibly durable objects. Shields, hammers, walls. Difficult to move once created. ? Purple – Distortion Slightly bends space around the construct. Makes attacks seem to "miss" or curves projectiles. Expensive in cursed energy. ⚫ Black – Absorption Absorbs kinetic energy, light, or cursed energy. Synergizes well with Yellow. Stores absorbed energy to release later. ⚪ White – Purity Neutralizes impurities or weakens cursed techniques on contact. Can repair damaged color constructs. Excellent against curses. Shades also matter: Pastels: Less CE cost, weaker effects. Normal saturation: Standard. Highly saturated: Stronger effects but drains CE faster. Dark shades: Greater durability and power. Light shades: Faster and easier to manipulate. For example: Crimson = sharper than scarlet. Navy = denser than sky blue. Lime = stronger acid than mint. The user can blend colors together to use both properties in one tool. This is dubbed "Colorblend". Colorblend examples: Red + Blue = sharp, heavy spear Blue + Green = Dense acid armor Yellow + Black = Energy-draining conductor Red + Orange = Sticky razor wire White + Green = Purifying acid that only dissolves cursed energy The sole limitation (other than imagination) is that the user has to see and/or remember the exact color they're creating (either or, depending on the situation) to utilize the full intent of the technique. If they're in complete darkness or an opponent alters the lighting or colors around them, the technique becomes less accurate.
