DBD really doesn't feel the same anymore. People aren't getting replies unless they're popular and I've seen a lot of backlash because of it. I want DBD to be a safe space, and I think that as a studio, we should stop pointing fingers about who to blame and work together to make this studio a better place. People need to reply more. I've seen that people mostly only reply to their friends, and I feel like that's one of the problems. Someone who is new to DBD may not feel welcomed if we don't make them FEEL welcomed. Just because you don't know someone well, doesn't mean they're not worth replying to. Additionally, "DBD humor" has been getting a lot of backlash, and I can see why. People only get replies when they make DBD humor their whole personality, and DBD humor is mostly based on fandoms that DBDers are in. Not all DBDers are in these fandoms, and it may cause some people to be left out. Lastly, we need to be understanding of people's situations. From what I've seen, this has mostly been a problem due to someone in a minority saying that they hate the majority, and some people go "But not ____ are like that!" The minority has the right to say stuff like that. It's important for the minority to speak up for themselves. I hope that DBD can become how it used to be. I've made so many friends and so many memories here, and I just want it to go back to the way it was, and a lot of DBDers agree with me. This isn't something only one person can do, we need every single DBDer to pitch in to help DBD improve.
