However, the reason behind this is their burning curiosity for the world around them. This was the cause for quite a few past incidents, so they have a much more strict system. Their home slightly resembles a village, with highranking cats sleeping in tall trees. Cats of this clan have wings; hence the name. A Birdclan cat's wing growth depends on their rank. Only cats with the absolute strongest wings can reach the tip of the trees, and only a highly ranking cat will have wings strong enough. If a Birdclan cat is born without wings, the leader has the right to exile them. While possible, leaders almost never do this. Maybe someday a future leader will abolish this right... CLAN TRAITS -Curious -Composed -Careful Bugclan -History Bugclan is the most aggressive of the clans. They have a pretty big emphasis on strength. Most cats here think that starclan is for weak cats only, and that the dark forest was a display of strength and respect. They don't have that great of a reputation with the other clans, and are often seen as rude. Meet a cat in the clan who is seen as a rule-breaker or isn't up to their unreasonably high standards? Exiled, Banished, or if the leader feels particularly cruel, maybe worse. The standards really depend on the clan's leader at the time. Some of the leaders have strength as a priority, some look for the ability to follow orders. Rarely a leader may actually have kindness as their priority. This type of behavior tends to be shut down immediately. The territory is snugly stationed in a large hollowed out tree. Bugclan kittens will watch how real bugs like bumblebees fly. This is how they'll learn basic flight skills, which will be greatly improved upon during their apprenticeship. Bugclan cats take lineages seriously, most leaders are Related to each other or another cat with a high rank. So yeah nepotisim! CLAN TRAITS -Avgressive -Untrusting -Strong -Bold -Stealthy Fruitclan Fruitclan cats are the peacemakers. They all greatly prioritize kindness and understanding, they also prefer to take a neutral stance in arguments. They are often very non-confrontational and are usually very stealthy; even when in a battle, preferring camouflage over a blunt assault. Being stationed very close to Fishclan territory, most cats are taught basic swimming skills, with leaders and any other diplomatic cats being especially skilled in the water. Fruitclan isn't the perfect clan though, as they do have a few standards of their own. Fruitclan loves beauty, and quite a few cats living there put a big emphasis on their appearance. This isn't a view that every cat shares. Younger cats here are actually encouraged to play games like hide and seek, as this makes good camouflage practice. They hide by either changing their fur color, or hiding in bushes. CLAN TRAITS -Peaceful -Sympathetic -Kind -Charismatic Fishclan -History Fishclan cats will spend most of their lives under the water, with kittens spending 12 hours in water, adults spending around 6, and leaders only needing to spend 4. The leaders are this way so they can attend gatherings and other interclan events without issue. Their territory is filled with jellyfish, yet the cats will mostly avoid them unless they are an exile. Cats from this clan are raised to be smart, prioritizing intelligence over strength. Their relationship with Bugclan is shaky right now. Their territory is an underwater den of rocks, held together with kelp. Their camp is very protected, especially the leader and kit's den. CLAN TRAITS -Protective -Intelligent -Calculated Lightclan -History Lightclan is the newest clan. Formed by clan exiles, and lead by Daybreak, Lightclan is amazingly different from the rest. Hiding in a cave below the clans, they use a 'glowbuddy' to guide their way. These are dependent on a cat's former and current rank. Fishclan exiles are gifted a jellyfish, Birdclan cats get a penguin or frogmouth, exiles from Bugclan are gifted a guiding firefly, and any Fruitclan exiles get a parrot. These animals guide them through the dark caverns of Lightclan territory. They aren't fully accepted by the other clans, especially Bugclan, who treats them only as a group of delinquents and nothing else. They still try to build trust and rapport with the other clans.
