Garnet woke, his burns still hurt but they weren't as bad as he'd expected. He spotted the Pantoran girl that was always in his dreams. "I'm Garnet." He said to her, expecting her to tell him her name but she seemed hesitant, like she was hiding something but finally said "I don't have a name,never needed one." Garnet was confused by this, didn't everyone have a name but chances were she did have a name but didn't like it. For the first time Garnet realized how beuitiful she was. Her light purple hair was short not even touching her shoulders. The gold markings on her face shone like sunlight. She had one robotic arm and he wondered what happened to her original but any small inprofection faded away when he looked into her eyes. Those eyes. "Saffron" Garnet blurted out then quickly added "your name could be Saffron because your eyes are the color of saffron." He suddenly felt self conscious and was surprised when she said "I like it." She sat down next to him and said "How are your burns." "They hurt ," he responded "but not as much as I thought they would." Saffron seemed happy at that. "We should stay here till I have time to fix The Blazing Shadow." She patted the interior of the ship, in response it gave a loud clunk and one of the pipes broke spewing steam. Garnet let out a laugh as Saffron got back to work.
