Midway upon the journey of my life, I found myself within a forest dark, For the straightforward pathway had been lost. - Dante Alighieri
Think about it... Do you really see our future being good? With humans depending on AI for everything, corrupt governments and meaningless wars, it really makes me wonder if we will even live another 100 years. Or will we plummet into nuclear wars and dystopia? Seeing the world around me makes me feel uneasy. To think we are a mere speck among the universe, and yet we have so many problems ahead of us. Our lives always end in the same thing: death. Yet, humans strive to live fufilling and happy lives. So many people ignore the chaos and misery around us. Some are forced to face is every day. Ignorance is not bliss. To ignore others' suffering not only makes it worse for them, but for you. You choose to let our lives rot. You choose to rely on AI for everything. What would we even do if AI actually took over? It sounds stupid, but it could be possible. AI could become the catalyst of destruction, and it's already happening. With the use of AI growing and growing, more data centers and servers are needed. Data centers require tons of water to function, which takes away from living things who really need it. Taking water is fine, we all need it. But AI is horrible in so many ways, that we're just feeding the beast's insatiable hunger. Data centers belch co2 into the atmosphere which damages it, and eventually will make it too thin to protect us from the radiation emitted from space. Earth will become susceptible to gamma rays, falling debris, UV rays, and then that will make even going outside a risk. Do you really want that future? And more importantly, do you ever see things improving?
