Shadows and Stars: Ch. 5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Something very, VERY bad happens (tw - cartoon death and blood, slight horror themes - written summary below just scroll down) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Characters: Light blue owl with fluffy ear tufts - Cloud (adult, he/him) Orange and yellow owl with leaf ear tufts - Dawn (adult, she/her) Large mysterious owl silhouette - adult (unknown pronouns) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Written summary (tw - death): Cloud and Dawn are flying over the East Wood. Dawn spots some prey, and dives into the East Wood to catch it. Cloud keeps flying, and he sees a black shape fly across the forest. Curious and concerned, he dives down into the forest to investigate. As he dives, the black shape - revealed to be another owl - slams into him, fatally wounding him. A little while later, Dawn is flying over the woods calling his name. She spots his body lying under a tree, and dives down. She pokes him, and begs him to wake up, but he doesn't. Realising he is dead, she cries. END OF SUMMARY (sneek peek of the next chapter: Some owls find out)
