With the electricity cut, Nyx charged through the remaining barricade, smashing through the security desks and scattered equipment like a battering ram. At the end of the long hallway sat the ultimate obstacle: a massive, airtight blast door leading to the outside world. The control panel beside it was flashing red, locked down tight from the central command room. Borealis leaped onto the high control console, tracking the thick bundles of wiring that fed into the mechanism. She used her sharp teeth and claws to tear away the protective casing, exposing the main power grid."The thick blue wire!" Borealis barked, looking down at Nyx.
