Chapter Six: Hospital Check ZELDA'S POV: We rushed into the hospital and saw Link's Mom. Aryll grabbed my arm and whispered, "M-my Mom knows about the case and about Ganon, but not about you, she thinks you were on the case with Link...and that you're actually his fiancée." I nodded, "I guess I'll keep up the act for a little longer." We walked to the receptionist and Link's mom was worried; a normal emotion for this event. "W-will Link be okay?" I asked, fidgeting with my hands. "He's still in surgery, t-they don't know if he's gonna make it," she replied, sniffling. I stepped back and tears escaped my eyes. 'W-what? Why am I crying? Yeah for show, but I didn't mean to do it now!' I thought, quickly wiping them away. "You okay? You crying for show?" Aryll sniffled, glancing at me. "Y-yeah," I replied, looking away and hiding in his jacket. We sat in the waiting room, waiting to see how Link was doing. We sat for what felt like hours, my heart and mind racing, my heart pounding for some reason. "So...have you actually fallen for my brother?" Aryll asked, sitting down next to me. I was a little shocked by the question and wasn't sure how to reply. I glanced at Aryll and muttered, "N-no, just doing my job." Aryll frowned and sighed, "Sad, you two make a cute couple." I laughed and smiled a bit. "Y-yeah," I whispered, my face getting red. We sat for a long time, which I spent thinking. 'Why do I feel this way? I can't actually love him! I was trained to stop my emotions from interfering in missions!' My mind raced with possible explanations for my emotions. "Excuse me, are you the Roger family?" a doctor asked, walking up to us. I looked up and we all stood. "Y-yes," Link's Mom replied, looking anxious. "He is stable, but he'll need to be monitored, I'll take you to his room," the doctor said, leading us to his room. We got to the room and walked inside, my heart racing.
