i think i started this awhile ago, but it got left behind in the heap of “things i don’t need to do but i want to do but i also don’t really want to do pile”. anyways here you go. i’m tired. (i almost accidentally unfollowed holy mackerel) Q1: Who is your favorite character and why? A1: aqua, though not by much. i feel like in general my view of the characters in the series are all pretty similar, although there are a couple exceptions. i do like aqua more than the others, although design-wise i don’t particularly like him. (he is fun to draw though, i think he’s just very different than characters im used to and so i get out of my normal range. he doesn’t transfer well into my artstyle though, in my opinion at least qwq) i have two kinds of favorite characters, i’ve found. the ones who are similar to me and the ones who are the polar opposite of my personality. aqua is the closest to me in the series and there’s no character currently that’s the opposite of me so…yeah just aqua. im ace too so thats nice ig Q2: Who is your least favorite character and why? A2: ehhh...please don't kill me...munar is my least favorite. and it's not really close. like my second least favorite is probably star. and i don't dislike star that much. he's just annoying. and lowk so far the only important character pieces we've seen are one or two interactions with ares and that he has a crush on moon. (man that sounded really bad i'm sorry) i'm sure that if i get to see more like character...stuff(?) i'll eventually like him more. the fact that i don't like him makes me sad because i really like his design hhh Q3: What is your favorite ship and why? A3: don't got one. i don't read the comic for the ships. dang that sounded rude again sorry but yeah i don't particularly like any of the ships in the story. yeah moonbeam is canonish but right now it's kind of...detrimental(?) to moon's character almost?? idk oh yeah, and i don't really ship solqua. like...i get why people do, but i don't, because aqua. (did that sound rude again?? sorry) Q4: What is your favorite dynamic and why? (can be a ship or can be platonic) A4: ehhh i like watching all of them interact. solur and angela is fun because i like watching them argue, for the sillies. and solur and aqua is always fun because its wholesome. Q5: What character or characters do you hope to see more of in the future? A5: okay been holding this back for a hot second but RAY. RAY RAY RAY RAY RAY. i'm so excited to see this guy. even though i'm like...99% sure he's d3ad. i still wanna hear about this guy. maybe i'll make a theory. ehhh but i don't really have much to say. ngl i didn't know that people didn't think the guy in 26 was ray. like...i didn't even notice that no one said that was him. if that guy wasn't ray, i will eat two sheets of paper. oh, and moon. for character n stuff. and actually, skeletos. because even though hes like everyones favorite, we haven't seen a lot of him as a character. like i need to know why he's afraid of his own existence. because he's starting to seem like zenitsu. from demon slayer. which is annoying. and the girls. more so angela than aro, i don't really know why. i just feel like there's more to do with angela's character than aro's at the moment. (and abby.) Q6: What is something you hope to see in the future? A6: hm. someone tell solur that the bisexuals exist. and tell aqua that like...platonic love exists. actually i kinda need to hear that. Q7: What path do you THINK 5AD will head in? A7: i really don't know. because seeing ai in 5ad was not what i expected. to any degree. and i've been corrupted by watching too much ninjago and so the only thing i can think of when i hear solar eclipse (almost typed solur holy mackerel) is the blood moon so i can't even imagine Q8: Favorite chapter and why? A8: 22. for a couple reasons. it was the last chapter that had been released when i started reading the series. (it's been like half a year. didn't realize itd been that long.) i also liked seeing skeletos's family because we got to see him not being scared of his own shadow. and i love abby. please show her again in the story. i want to know if she's a pokemon fan like meee (the pikachu fit goes hard) Q9: Favorite scene and why? A9: hmmmmmmmm i'm a little teeny itsy bitsy mini bit biased but i like the moonbeam silly dream wedding scene i wonder why... (ARIS MY SILLY LITTLE FURY BASED OC <33) ahem half-joking statements aside, some of my favorites are the skeletos scene from 22, the solur backstory, and the aqua cooking scene. (i ran out of space ohno)
Q10: What is confusing about the series? A10: maybe the setting/environment. at first i didn't read some of the other projects like the one with the sun/moon curse, and it can get confusing time-period wise. like we have fully functioning ai but not like full-on robots. i assume that this is like the real world but like with actual greek deities n stuff. it's pretty well-explained overall. Q11: What god are you most excited to see next? A11: persephone. i've got a sort of oc/design for her myself and so i'm excited to see what yours looks like, since she's one of my favorite greek gods. oh, and artemis. lowk i feel like you leant into the goddess of the hunt side of artemis more than the goddess of the moon, which is interesting since i don't see that much. (she's also the bringer of death by natural causes, the goddess of care of children, etc) Q12: Any headcanons for Solur? A12: nah Q13: Any headcanons for Aqua? A13: demiromantic (attraction only to those who the person has a deep connection to) ace Q14: Any headcanons for Aro? A14: hyposensitivity, so she sometimes doesn’t feel stuff that people normally would. i’m bad at explaining stucf, so probably look it up. and quoiromantic. Q15: Any headcanons for Angela? A15: really good at chess. Q16: Any headcanons for Skeletos? A16: generalized anxiety, or something like that Q17: Any headcanons for Munar? A17: nah Q18: Any headcanons for Star (Smith)? A18: nah Q19: Any headcanons for Bolt? A19: nah Q20: Anything else about 5AD that you want to say? A20: i really like this series haha (also random but i’m not looking forward to drawing sparkle because there are no full panels of it in the entirety of ch. 28)
