okay so im going to start this out by saying that this contains heavy spoilers??? like uh yeah.. so beware. I saw it in theaters and was refraining from spoiling it for you guys until it released. this episode is controversial, it's not /that/ bad for me though, I quite enjoyed it. my only issue with it being how quickly they accepted the fact that they weren't real, never were real, never will be real, and will never leave the circus. I feel they're recovery to that is rushed, and I also think more of them should have maybe sided with Jax when he(/she, depends) opposed kinger, as I find literally killing god is sort of unforgivable (not religious btw. just a bad move). I feel the end of the series has been very Jax-heavy and though I do understand he(again, maybe she) is a principal character besides pom. I would've liked it to cover some more of how [the cast] befriended each other, etc, all that stuff. especially ragatha, it talks about her relationship with ribbit and jax but that's all you get to know. ribbit and Jax's dynamic is very interesting to me, him pushing her away because of how she knows about him being homeless (which the fandom kind of overlooked) and having divorced parents and a mother like that. ragatha and Jax's parental traumas are actually pretty similar, the sibling theory could apply still, but its a stretch as ragatha was rich and it appears Jax was middle-class. but Caine would've told her in the ending sequence. also the abstraction aquarium??? hello?? that's awesome. it's a cool way to view your abstracted friends/family while them being calm and unable to hurt you, I just wish there was a way to discern abstractions from each other okay so goose has confirmed Jax is transgender, which I find really cool. that's the third confirmed lgbtqia+ character (gangle, zooble, and now him/her). it explains his room, and why he picks on the feminine-presenting characters (goose said "he still has issues he hasn't worked out yet"). Caine coming back without the blue ai fused to him is amazing, one of my favorite scenes in the series being the "I never programmed you to say you loved me" sequence (I cried I fearrrr). the scenes of him enjoying the circus as a cast member instead of the ringleader is an amazing turning point for his arc and I think his relationships with the cast would have improved a lot, based off of the ending scenes I don't hate this episode or whatever, just feel Jax being liked before he showed emotional depth over his coming out to his mother kinda ruined him for me. idk just he had like a huge fandom before he ever became likable which kinda bothered me because there's a lot of gems in the cast anyways I bought a ribbit plush because HELLO?? I love her so much, her being cut out of the friend group is so realistic, and her abstraction had a purpose, kaufmo's was kinda muddled to me??. with kaufmo idgi moving on, the Fortnite thing is kinda strange to me. I mean, in my opinion, gangle and kinger should have been included? like they werent taken in the trailer so idk, maybe they were just too hard to add it so they gave up on them </3 the isn't she lovely memorial made me cry btw :) anyways that concludes my yap session, feel free to argue with me in comments about Jax's gender identity or something I don't even care anymore I just want my ribbit plush
