My name is wall/Wilbur (or @wallsarefun if u wanna be formal) and I’ll be applying for shapeshifterkit :evil devil emoji: ⋆ I am a sophomore who’s been roleplaying for like, 8 years now and ive been on scratch for around 5 years. Im an artist and oc enthusiast + a major fnaf fan. ⋆ Why do i think i should win? Well i can do a perfect imitation of a dog! watch; bark bark! Wanna see me do it again? BARK BARK, but in all seriousness, I think I've got a fun idea for this kit and would love to execute it :) ✶⋆ THE KIT Shapeshifter is nonbinary! Primarily going by she/they/it and they will be cupioromantic. ⋆ (+) Spontaneous, fun, playful, friendly, charming. resourceful, observant, patient, adventurous, energetic. adaptive. (=) strange, nihilistic, apathetic, upfront, monotone, antisocial (-) Heartless, careless, manipulative, deceitful, sarcastic, long-tempered, detached, irresponsible, avoidant, distant, blunt ⋆ A lot of shapeshifter is a mask. A very big mask, one she puts on for every form she has. They make up silly names and silly backstories for each of their forms, loosing themselves in each one. When you have so many faces it’s hard to recognize which is truly yours, which is real. They’ve always felt this disconnect from themselves and from their relationships. They struggle to recognize and form meaningful connections. From their perspective they aren’t real, yet shapeshifter knows they mean something to other cats, she knows they’re important and meaningful, however. And its rather strange to know she means something to someone while she herself feels nothing, theirs a rather large hole inside of her, one empty and unfulfilled because of this. And it's because of this she forms a mask. With the mask she’s this ball of energy. An unstoppable force of joy and happiness someone who you don’t think has any troubles in the world! She plays a game, being this supporting friend- someone who can light up a room just by entering and could charm any cat she comes across, she’s got a real captivating smile after all. They're this bubbly happy joyous person, one who will take you on adventures and overindulge every whim of yours and someone who can sit down with you, someone you can talk to when you're worried or sad. She’ll listen, she’ll hug you and help you. Yet ultimately, she’ll feel nothing from this, they’ll play the game of being the friend, yet this means very little to her in retrospect. She’ll say all the right things, everything to make you spill all your dialogue until she ultimately gets bored. Another meaningless connection to throw to the pile. It’s heartless in a way, how she’ll so easily step on a cat's heart whenever she’s bored of the game. Throwing them away without any care in the world. Lying about herself to get any sort of sense of fulfillment from this but then again without her mask what would she be? And underneath it all she’s a rather- monotone person, rather quiet and unblinking when left to her own devices but she works best that way. She’s able to reinvent herself, working with what she has and her own observations to carefully plan her next move. And despite this she can still be a bit rude- and unsympathetic, her sarcasm slipping along with her mask when she’s not careful. A possible hint towards a more truthful personality one buried and hidden yet she doesn't know is there. (APPLICATION CONTINUED IN N/A/C)
✶⋆ EXTRA Her main inspo's are rose quartz (SU), lapis (SU), and flowey! (UT) and a little bit of asuka, just a tad. Voiceclaim is lapis lazuli from steven universe and will likely be rose quartz when shes older I plan for this to develop gradually, so all of this big personality won't be all present when shes a kit but will be more apparent when shes an apprentice and warrior. Ill link the playlist i made for inspo in the project lol Shes a very neutral person, not having many favorites. Doesnt feel a sense of loyalty to her clan whatsoever, its just where she was raised. Scarily observant. When she isnt acting she's got a real expressionless resting face. its kinda scary. Painfully self-aware. i did kind of intend for her to be a bad person, someone who will hurt others, idk i dont get to play bad people often i dont think lol. I am really hoping I explained my idea correctly lol, I know it's a little abstract but if u need any clarification, please ask! I'd love to explain if needed lol. the siller ever who cant express things normally ever and will ultimately end up hurting people <3 ⋆ Honestly, my activity is a 50/50 depending on the week. Alot of my activity depends on my mental health and i cant guarantee full activity always, but i do try to the best of my abilities and I'm trying to be better, so just something to keep in mind. ⋆ Intersexuality is a genetical condition that’s often caused when a cat has an abnormality regarding their chromosomes although this is not the only reason or cause for intersexuality. Chromosomes are what determine your Agab, XX for females and XY for males however in shapeshifters case they’d have an XXY chromosome or an XO chromosome instead. This doesn’t impact shapeshifter in a negative way however as it’s not an illness or disease rather just a naturally occurring thing that can happen and many intersex cats lead proper and healthy lives. Shapeshifter however is infertile, infertility being a common side effect of being intersex and will be unable to have biological kits because of this.
