Completely new coding required to join pendulums Swing speeds determined by pendulum length Each has slightly longer length than previous with speed inversely proportional to square-root of length "Digital driven" where upper pendulums affect lower ones, but lower ones have no effect on the upper ones In a "digital" or 1-way pendulum, a "driven" pendulum, the top pendulum swings freely and dictates the motion of the bottom one, but the lower swing exerts 0 forces (like tension or gravity) back up the chain. The upper pendulum’s motion acts simply as an external time-varying input (like driving a swing with a motor) determining the starting position of the lower. In a real double pendulum, the motion is chaotic. The lower bob pulls on the upper pivot point, altering its tension and momentum, which feeds right back into the upper pendulum's angle and acceleration. Music: Assembling by Asher Fulero
