[click to zoom. on-screen arrow, arrow keys, space] Heyyyyy whats up!! it's been a busy week, so buckle in everybody >:) Last week (June 14-20) was "Varigo Week", which if your unfamiliar is an event hosted off-site thats just a bunch of character ship prompts, specifically for Varigo. It's fun! I finished days 1-3 on the day, but the rest put me a bit behind (mostly because animatics are hard,, ooo,,,) So here's all that! Day 1: "Promise" - this is what popped into my head first even though I'm pretty sure it was meant to be taken a more romantic direction. That's fine - turned out good and I like it. Takes place between the Air and Earth Kingdoms (which I headcannon as Arendelle, so that's why that's there) I know its REALLY BLURRY so I put the script in the Notes and Credits Section Day 2: "Burn" - hopefully pretty self explanatory. I think its funny hehe Day 3: "Dance" - a WONDERFUL excuse to practice figure drawing! used a bunch of vintage photography for the poses, except for the middle one which is from a movie I don't know. Day 4: "Too Little Too Late" - definitely designed as an angsty prompt, but I've been thinking about SvtFoE lately so this is immediately where my brain went. this is a sneak peek: the full thing was an ANIMATIC AYYY so here's the link to that file for your viewing pleasure: https://file.garden/ajkVN3d4nHk4ISPX/too%20little%20too%20late.mp4 Day 5: "Hold Still" - probably not what the prompt meant but whatever. I felt like future designs and fluff. Hugo is Extra Tall because he got married in platform heels. Because of course he did. (comic script in notes and credits) Plus a bonus with Rapunzel!! Day 6: "Secrets" - not suuuuper happy with how this came out, but whatever. My cell shading is quite good even if it got covered up :T Day 7: "Free Day!!" - I wanted to do snoozing guys because it'd been a long week and I didn't want to do anything huge. Or a fritter-" Hugo: "Oh my GOODness I love fritters. I want one so bad right now-" Varian: "Hugo, I'll by you a HUNDRED fritters if you can manage to stop whining for the rest of the walk." Hugo: "GASP! Varian? Doing something nice? For ME?" Hugo: "golly gee-" Hugo: "Do you PROMISE?" Hugo:"... uh, V, are you-" Varian: "I'll buy you some fritters when we get there. Let's go." Varian: "It's a long walk to Arendelle with the camper broken. We need to get moving." Hold Still: Nuru: "psst- Hugo" Nuru: "Are you alright?" Hugo: "No! I'm freaking out! What if something happens? What if he-" Nuru: "HUGO." Nuru: "None of that. You have been with him for 10 YEARS. He looks at you like you're the entire world. He loves you- and you love him. So trust THAT and not your crap brain." Nuru: "You've been planning this for months. Nothing will happen. Max isn't even ring-bearing." Nuru: "So calm down. Here- you missed a button." Hugo "uh-" Nuru: "Hold still." Nuru: "There." Nuru: "Now take a deep breath, okay? You can do this. Truly." Hugo: "Thanks, Nuru." Nuru: "Anytime. Now go marry that dork"
