Kintsugi is a Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with a mixture of gold, silver or platinum. Rather than hiding the cracks, the method highlights them, treating the damage and repair as a beautiful part of the object's history. Anyways this project is about the fowl. The kintsugi pheasant (Kintsugi sinonipon) is a pheasant species native to the Sino-Japan Isles and the Flooded Highlands (press space for map.) Their most notable feature are its black and yellow patterns that the males have as a mating display, creating a look similar to the Kintsugi art form. Females, on the other hand, are boring and gray and resemble normal, boring, gray stones. The kintsugi pheasant's favorite food are the seeds of gilded lotuses. They also use these flowers to get the attention of females. The pheasant in this project is rather unsuccesful. Bro thought he ate ☠︎︎
@The_Everything_Topic for the gilded locuses :P @SeaCheesez for some of the brainstorming
