Lavender gets to help out anywhere they please. This should make them feel more independent, but... it doesn't. Lavender is a new hire who's only on the team because MIRA wanted to meet safety guidelines by adding another member to the crew instead of fixing their faulty ship. So now, they're on the team, but there aren't any roles that need to be filled. So Lavender is the Wildcard. They can help out in any department or area on the ship at any time, as long as they're not already busy elsewhere. They're nervous but want to make a good impression and want the crew to genuinely like them. They want to be independent and be seen as independent, so this job is perfect for them. Yet they just feel like they're drifting. Like they don't have a role. Like they... don't actually need their help. But they will be tested when things go awry. Will they be able to find a purpose amid the madness? Or will they become the next victim? Find out in a short story coming out soon, called 'Among Us: Lavender.' Things will certainly differ from the original show due to their presence. How much? That's for me to know, and for you to find out. Soon enough. Thanks for reading! (Also why isn't Lavender a color in the game? they have banana of all colors already, and it's such an easy pick lol)
