Yayy another art dump, except this one is actually more than like 3 pieces, surprise surprise I also have an important notice regarding my art class, so I’ll add that before the descriptions of the artworks ────────── Art Class Notice - I’m sure some of y’all have been wondering what happened to my art class; my most recent lesson was nearly 2 months ago. In short, I’ve been busy. VERY busy. My schedule is packed with things do to and I haven’t had the time to sit down and work for hours on a personal project that I control the schedule of. I spent the first couple of weeks traveling, then I worked for a week at a summer camp, then I had to attend a health class for my high school for 2 weeks, and for the rest of the summer until junior year starts, I’ll be working at the camp. I was aware of this schedule before I made my art class, so why did I make it? I have two reasons: One - I didn’t account for the level of exhaustion I would feel after working. This is my 2nd year as a camp counselor, and my first year was, for whatever reason, much less exhausting, so I expected my 2nd year to be the same. It was not. I come home and immediately crash, it’s to a point where if you even try to interact with me, I will likely cry. Two - I was offered a new opportunity!! I was accepted to participate in an artisan market as a student vendor, and I’m absolutely thrilled for the opportunity to sell my prints and advertise my commissions alongside other professional vendors!! However, this is taking a HUGE chunk of my free time as there’s a lot of preparation that goes into this, especially as it’s my first time, which leaves little to no time for me to rest, do schoolwork, let alone work on a passion project. Because of these scheduling changes, I’m forced to cancel the continuation of my art class. I am SO sorry to those who were looking forward to this, I myself am disappointed that I couldn’t get it done, but I simply cannot keep up with the demands of life, my mental well-being, and personal projects. Thank you all for your understanding and patience as I sort out my life, I’m looking forward to opportunities in the future for my art :) ────────── On to the art! 1. AT with @onyxsky, I was FIGHTING making a background with this so I ended up caving and making a really filler bg :,D but otherwise I’m pleased with how it came out!! 2-4.
