(Click or press any key to switch images) Hi! Last year, I revealed a Henry Stickmin RPG fangame that I was working on in my spare time. I also estimated that the game would be finished this year. I'm confirming that this is true. In fact, development has been going rather smoothly! I'd like to talk about some of my favorite features thus far, as well as the development roadmap for the rest of the year. - The Teleporter: The Teleporter is in the game, and (assuming it doesn't backfire) can be used to backtrack to locations from past chapters. Revisiting adds new challenges and character encounters, so don't hesitate to pay a visit if you have the spare time. - Playable Ellie: I briefly mentioned that Ellie would be important from Chapter 2 onward. She is a fully playable partner character who wields a stop sign. What she lacks in health, she makes up for in... the sheer unmatched power of metal sign. Swap places with her at any time during a battle without using a turn! - Scouring The Complex: This is the name of the second chapter. Explore a complete fan interpretation of the Wall's layout through 6 floors, each with their own surprises. The locations are entirely based off the various ending paths in the original Fleeing the Complex and are as accurate to the original game as possible. Now, for the development roadmap. This game is fully planned and written! It only needs to be brought to life in the engine. Based on real-world events and the game's size, I can make the following estimates. The game will release in the latter quarter of 2026, targeting October-November. The initial version will have the complete story and side modes. A second version of the game will release a few months later, adding the two player co-op features and patching residual bugs. That's really all there is to it. Thank you so much for the support shown to this project thus far; I truly appreciate it! I am genuinely excited to get this game done so you can play it yourself instead of just hearing from me. In the meantime, I have more to show off as release time approaches, so keep an eye out if anything here interests you.
