So... You ready? This is the secret project I've ben working on. This isn't 100% canon to Journey to Hope anymore... I was just completing the vision that never got finished. My very first complete game... actually completed 6 years later! Anyhow... Controls! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ +Press the left and right arrow keys to move. +Walk to the paws to change areas. +Click on the den entrance to enter/leave. +Click on characters to speak to them. +Click on items to pick them up. Not every item you pick up will be visible in your mouth. +When a character asks a questions, anything that starts with a "y" counts as a yes. Anything else (even a "sure" or a blank response) counts as no. I know it's tedious... maybe I'll add those option buttons in a future update! TIPS! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ +You can train Twig AND Frost! +In the final battle, Twig will join you. You may need more health than you think, since you will be fighting a battle wave of four mongooses, each's health and strength slightly better than the last. I recommend at least 300 health. +You can become Twig's partner by training him until his health is 100. +Every time you train Twig, his health goes up by how much your strength is. Get higher strength to train him faster. +When a character asks for something, you can give them anything you pick up. Experiment. FAQ: Q: Can I change my gender/appearance? A: Sadly no. If I ever remake this, you will be able to... may add that in the future to this one tho! The good news is that I really want to go back to making Scratch-friendly games! Q: Are these cats/wolves etc? A: No, these are mongooses, weasel-like creatures originating from Africa/India. They're burrowing omnivores who like to weave in small spaces and hunt snakes, small mammals, insects, and eat berries and fruit. Q: Why are they called the Blacksoul "Tribe?" A: They're not really a "tribe" by traditional means. I got the name originally from the tribes in Warrior Cats, but I believe they are called "The Blacksoul Pack" in modern Journey to Hope since it matches the lore better.
Music? I have no idea. But I got most of it from @Wildflight. One track is called "Skyshrine City," but most of the files are just called "Battle ___." I did add some music myself. One song is called "MELANCHOLIA" and is that music box song you hear near the end. The intro is heavily inspired by (JTH is inspired by Warriors and I like to attract the Warrior Cats fandom!)
